The Stable channel of Google Chrome has been updated to version 129.0.6668.89/90 for Windows and Mac, and 129.0.6668.89 for Linux. This update will roll out over the coming days and weeks. A full list of changes in this build is available in the Log. This update includes four security fixes, contributed by external researchers, which address issues such as integer overflow in Layout, insufficient data validation in Mojo, and inappropriate implementation in V8. The security fixes were reported by researchers from Tashita Software Security, Wuheng Lab, and STAR Labs SG Pte. Ltd. Google Chrome also thanks all security researchers who worked with them during the development cycle to prevent security bugs from reaching the stable channel. The update also includes various fixes from internal audits, fuzzing, and other initiatives. Many of the security bugs were detected using tools such as AddressSanitizer, MemorySanitizer, and libFuzzer. Users can switch release channels or report new issues by filing a bug. The community help forum is also available for help or learning about common issues.
