Halo: Campaign Evolved is a remake of the original story, coming to Xbox, PC and PS5 in 2026

Halo Studios is remaking the original Halo: Combat Evolved, titled Halo: Campaign Evolved, for release in 2026. This remake aims to modernize the classic campaign from the first Halo game. It will feature enhanced visuals, refined controls, and updated cinematics. Players can expect new weapons, vehicles, and enemy types within the game. The game will include three new prequel missions focused on Master Chief and Sgt. Johnson. The game will support both two-player split-screen co-op on consoles and four-player online co-op, with cross-platform play.
