The Chrome team has announced the promotion of Chrome 134 to the stable channel for Windows, Mac, and Linux, which will roll out over the coming days and weeks. This update includes a number of fixes and improvements, with a list of changes available in the log. The team will be publishing blog posts about new features and big efforts delivered in Chrome 134. The extended stable channel has also been updated to version 134.0.6998.36 for Windows and 134.0.6998.45 for Mac. This update includes 14 security fixes, with several contributed by external researchers. The security fixes include high, medium, and low-severity issues, with rewards ranging from $1000 to $7000 for the researchers who reported them. The Chrome team thanks all security researchers who worked with them during the development cycle to prevent security bugs from reaching the stable channel. The team's internal security work was responsible for a wide range of fixes, including those detected using various security tools. Users can switch release channels or report new issues by filing a bug or reaching out to the community help forum.
