Sony recently shared a glimpse into its plans for the 30th anniversary of the PlayStation, which may include the release of a PS5 Pro. A hidden image in the marketing material appears to show a console similar to the rumored PS5 Pro design that was leaked in late August. The silhouette of the console matches the leaked rendering, featuring a larger size and three lines across the body. The actual 30th anniversary of PlayStation is on December 3, which aligns with rumors that the PS5 Pro would be released in time for holiday shopping. Sony also announced that it will make digital soundtracks from its games available on Spotify between October and January, including God of War, Twisted Metal, and more. Additionally, there will be a special event to introduce new players to the Gran Turismo franchise and a collection of toys called Shapes of Play inspired by PlayStation consoles. A 30th anniversary photo op stage will also be featured in the upcoming release Astro Bot.
