Building privatus: Day 2 - day 6

Welcome back to day 2 of the project to create the perfect social media platform, Privatus. The goal is to make it open-sourced, privacy-based, well-being focused, and for the users by the users. Today's task is to update the design, specifically fixing the sidebar and adding a following section. The author, EzpieCo, shares their process and challenges, including dealing with state sharing between components and fixing the design. The final product includes a feed and following section, but the author got stuck with an async function in the following section. The project is ongoing, with the next task being an update to the blog view on day 7.
