A recent poll by AtlasIntel shows that Brazilians are divided over Supreme Court Justice Alexandre de Moraes's decision to suspend social media platform X in the country. Regarding the public dispute between Moraes and X owner Elon Musk, 49.7% sided with the judge, 43.9% backed Musk, and 5.4% chose not to take sides. Most respondents (48.9%) believed X should have complied with court orders to remove certain content and ban users involved in spreading distorted news and hate. However, 64.5% disagreed with Moraes's decision to fine users who use VPNs to access X, and 55.1% considered the blocking of financial accounts from Starlink, owned by Musk's SpaceX, as "abusive."
