Google is bringing its Gemini models to on-premises environments through Google Distributed Cloud (GDC) in partnership with NVIDIA. This will allow organizations with strict data requirements to access advanced AI technology without compromising data security or sovereignty. GDC offers a fully managed on-prem and edge cloud solution with security, data, and AI services. NVIDIA's Blackwell systems will support Gemini on GDC, enhancing privacy and performance. Gemini on GDC addresses the challenges of organizations that historically had to rely on open-source models due to regulatory constraints. The GDC air-gapped product, already authorized for US Government Secret and Top Secret missions, ensures high levels of security and compliance. Gemini models on GDC deliver breakthrough AI performance with multimodal capabilities and support for over 100 languages. Vertex AI on GDC further accelerates the development, deployment, and management of AI applications. Google Agentspace search will also be available on GDC to unify access to enterprise data securely. Enterprises can now contact Google or its partners to implement Gemini and gen AI on their premises.
