Newsom Sues Trump Over National Guard Deployment As Media Calls LA Riots 'Peaceful'

Despite footage emerging of violent demonstrators running up and attacking ICE vehicles with projectiles, CNN reporters are calling the riots "peaceful". The LA riots were described as "mostly very peaceful" by an ABC reporter, despite ICE acting director Todd Lyons asserting that "Our brave officers were vastly outnumbered, as over reporters are complaining that Donald Trump was bad for sending in the National Guard to target "peaceful protests". The media's downplaying of the violence is being compared to their treatment of the January 6 "insurrection", with some pointing out that the LA riots make the January 6 event look like a peaceful protest.
