The Republican National Convention featured a variety of music, including "Celebration" by Kool & The Gang when former president Donald Trump secured the Republican presidential nomination. Lee Greenwood performed "Holdin' a Good Hand" and signed copies of his "God Bless the USA Bible" for delegates. Country singer Chris Janson performed "Buy Me a Boat" and "Every Day of The Week" on the first day of the convention. The music video for "Trump Trump Baby" by Forgiato Blow, featuring model and TV personality Amber Rose, was shown on the jumbotron. Several musical artists have asked the Trump campaign not to use their music at events, including Phil Collins, Bruce Springsteen, the Rolling Stones, Pharrell Williams, and Rihanna. The RNC's playlist continues to update throughout the convention.
