Amazon Cognito removes Machine-to-Machine app client price dimension

Amazon Cognito is simplifying its pricing for machine-to-machine (M2M) authentication. The M2M app client pricing dimension has been removed, making it more affordable for customers. Cognito enables applications to access API data using machine identities. These identities, acting as clients on application servers, operate without user interaction for tasks like scheduled jobs or data updates. The removal of the app client charge means customers will now only pay for successful M2M token requests. Previously, charges were incurred for each registered M2M app client and each token request. This adjustment makes scaling M2M applications with Cognito more cost-effective. The pricing change is automatic and requires no customer action. It is effective immediately across all Amazon Cognito regions. Customers can find more pricing details on the Amazon Cognito pricing page.
