AWS Resource Explorer has expanded its support to include 47 additional resource types across various AWS services. This enhancement allows customers to search for a much broader range of resources directly within the Resource Explorer. Key services now integrated include Amazon Bedrock, AWS Shield, and AWS Glue, among others. The newly supported resource types span a wide array of categories, covering applications, networking, security, storage, and data services. Examples of new searchable resources include configurations for Amplify, collections in OpenSearch Serverless (AOSS), and application endpoints for App-Integrations. Critical security resources like AWS Shield protections and protection groups are now indexable. Data-related assets such as Glue DataQualityRuleset and S3 Storage Lens Groups have been added. Networking and connectivity resources like Direct Connect gateways and VPC Lattice components are also now supported. The update incorporates specialized resources like SageMaker monitoring schedules, Lex bots, and resources for incident management and content delivery. This substantial increase in supported resource types improves the ability of customers to efficiently search and discover their AWS assets. A comprehensive list of all supported resource types is available on the dedicated supported resource types page.
