Google is launching a preview of its AI health coach tomorrow for select Fitbit Premium users in the US on Android. This AI chatbot, designed to assist users in achieving fitness and health goals, is coming to iOS, but will debut on Android. This Public Preview incorporates user feedback to improve and add features although some gaps might be present initially. Users will start by having a conversation to set goals with the AI assistant. The coach serves as a personal trainer, helping to adjust plans and create workouts. It will also offer advice and help users brainstorm questions to ask doctors, and analyze sleep patterns. Sleep analysis will be detailed, helping users understand sleep trends. Notifications will alert eligible premium users who have a Pixel Watch or Fitbit device. The entire Fitbit app is being redesigned to emphasize AI integration.
