The Canadian Glove Museum in Point Leamington, Newfoundland and Labrador

Tucked inside the Superior Glove factory in Point Leamington, Newfoundland, the Canadian Glove Museum celebrates the surprisingly rich history of handwear. What began as a local glove manufacturer has grown into a unique museum featuring gloves from across eras and industries, from antique work gloves to celebrity-owned fashion statements. Among the highlights are gloves said to have belonged to Elvis Presley, Marilyn Monroe, and Audrey Hepburn, as well as pairs worn by athletes and astronauts. Visitors can browse displays detailing the evolution of glove-making and see how gloves continue to play a vital role in everything from space exploration to heavy industry. The museum also offers guided tours of the working Superior Glove factory, where you can see modern glove production up close. While photography is welcome in the museum, cameras are not allowed inside the factory itself.
