The Yoda Cave in Iceland

Right off the black sand beach and lava field near the southern tip of Iceland, this unique cave formation looks like the famous Star Wars character, Yoda. This naturally formed cave was also used in the film Rogue One.  The Yoda Cave is a naturally formed volcanic cave that was formed during the Ice Age. The Yoda Cave also echoes intensely when sound is created inside.  Film-lovers and nature lovers can not only visit, but go inside the Yoda Cave. The cave is facing the southern black sand beach, and the roads are unpacked to get to see the cave.  The cave is on private property and you need to pay for parking to enter. You will need a vehicle to get to the cave, which is 9 miles west of the town of Vik.
