Three More Apple Apps Just Got Liquid Glass Updates

Apple updated GarageBand, Photomator, and Pixelmator Pro with new Liquid Glass-compatible icons for iOS 26, iPadOS 26, and macOS Tahoe. The GarageBand icon for iPhone and iPad features a realistic guitar, replacing the neon silhouette. This new GarageBand icon is also used on the Mac, although the Mac app itself wasn't updated. Apple plans to update iMovie, App Store, Keynote, Numbers, and Pages icons as well. Photomator received a new icon on Mac, iPhone, and iPad, with the Mac version removing the border. Pixelmator Pro for Mac was also updated, similarly removing the squircle border around its icon. Apple acquired Pixelmator, Pixelmator Pro, and Photomator in November 2024 and now began updating their visual assets. The consistency updates across platforms enhances the user experience. The new icon designs reflect Apple's design evolution.
