WAN Is the New LAN!?!?

The traditional Local Area Network (LAN) is no longer the sole focus of enterprise IT as the definition of "local" has expanded globally. The Wide Area Network (WAN), once the most expensive link, has become more agile and intelligent, enabling global LAN expansion. This significant shift, dubbed "WAN is the new LAN," is the result of over two decades of evolution. The journey progressed from the limitations of MPLS through SD-WAN to the current promise of hyper-scale Cloud WAN.
