Samsung Galaxy S24 FE review: A great phone, but I wish it was cheaper

The Samsung Galaxy S24 FE is a midrange device that offers a large display, impressive performance, and a good camera system. It features a 6.4-inch AMOLED 2X display with a 120Hz refresh rate, making it one of the best screens on a midrange phone. The Exynos 2400e processor delivers strong performance, and the 4,700mAh battery provides long battery life. However, the phone's charging capabilities are lacking, and Samsung doesn't include a power adapter in the box. The S24 FE also comes with a telephoto lens, which is rare in midrange phones, and its camera system is improved with the addition of Samsung's ProVisual engine. Despite its features, the S24 FE's $650 price makes it less competitive compared to other midrange options, including the Pixel 8a. Samsung's Galaxy AI tools are also not compelling enough to justify the cost, especially with the prospect of paying for some features after 2025.
