Scorpion fish for stock question (red rock cod)

Hey everyone, I caught a few nice little red rock cod aka scorpion the other day and made a stock base with the frames/head after eating the delicious meat from the fillets. My question is- should I have done anything specific before boiling the frames and heads for stock? I’ve only since learnt they have venomous spines and am wondering if the broth is safe or if I should discard..? Thanks in advance submitted by /u/Wise_Pattern_6657
