The feud between Donald Trump and Elon Musk continues, with Trump warning of "serious consequences" if Musk supports Democratic candidates. Trump accused Musk of being "very disrespectful" and said he has no intention of speaking to him. Musk, meanwhile, has been promoting his "America Party" and expressing concerns over US debt levels. Trump also threatened to review government contracts with Musk's companies, including SpaceX. Vice President JD Vance weighed in, saying he hopes Musk will "come back into the fold" and that the feud is not good for America. Vance also credited DOGE with finding waste, fraud, and abuse in government spending. Musk had previously deleted posts in which he said he would apologize to Trump for mean tweets if the Epstein files were released. The feud began when Musk opposed the "Big Beautiful Bill" which raises the debt ceiling by $5 trillion and fails to address waste, fraud, and abuse. Musk's main issue is the increase in the debt ceiling and the lack of effort to address waste, fraud, and abuse.
