Razer launches its first barebones mechanical keyboard

Razer has launched its first keyboard for the DIY set, called the BlackWidow V4 75% Barebones. This keyboard is essentially the popular BlackWidow mechanical keyboard without keys and keycaps. It is a solid option for those who like Razer's design and Chroma RGB but want to use their own keys. The Barebones BlackWidow is identical to the fully assembled variant in terms of features and functionality. It supports 3-pin or 5-pin mechanical switches and custom keycaps, offering a high degree of customization. The keyboard also features a polling rate of up to 8,000Hz with Razer's HyperPolling tech for fast and accurate keystrokes. Additionally, it has factory-lubricated stabilizers for smoother keystrokes and dual-layer dampening foam for a better typing experience. The keyboard also comes with pre-applied tape to soften higher frequencies, reducing noise and vibration. The BlackWidow V4 75% Barebones is available for purchase on Razer's website, with the black variant priced at $140 and the white variant at $150.
