The "Kingdom 5KR," a massive yacht with a storied history, crashed into a pier in Tunisia. The 281-foot vessel, originally named "Nabila," was built in 1980 for Saudi billionaire Adnan Khashoggi and featured in the James Bond movie "Never Say Never Again." After facing financial troubles, Khashoggi sold the yacht to the Sultan of Brunei in 1988, who in turn sold it to former President Donald Trump for $29 million. Trump renamed it the "Trump Princess" and later sold it to Prince Al-Waleed bin Talal in 1991 for $20 million, who renamed it "Kingdom 5KR." The yacht reportedly suffered a mechanical issue while attempting to dock at the port of Bizerte, causing significant damage to its bow. Images shared on social media depict the extent of the damage, suggesting a loss of control may have been involved. An investigation is underway to determine the exact cause of the incident.
