Google Keep no longer supports the Apple Watch

Google has released a new version of its Keep note-taking app, which no longer supports the Apple Watch. The app's iTunes listing now only shows compatibility with iPhones and iPads. Google had initially made Keep compatible with Apple Watches in 2019, but it hasn't received any significant updates since then. Despite the lack of updates, the app worked fine on the Apple Watch until now. Users who rely on Keep for to-do lists and reminders will have to find an alternative, such as Microsoft OneNote, which has apps for both Android and Apple Watch. Apple is also developing its Notes app for the watchOS 26 platform, which will sync with the Apple Notes app on other devices. Although Apple Notes doesn't have an Android app, users can access it through the iCloud website on non-Apple devices. The latest version of Google Keep for iPhones and iPads remains unchanged, with only bug fixes and no new features. Google has, however, released a new Calendar app for the Apple Watch, which shows a week's worth of events and Google Tasks. The removal of Apple Watch support from Google Keep may inconvenience some users, but they can still use the app on their iPhones and iPads without any issues.
