What is these pink areas in my pork roast?

My wife cooked this bbq marinated pork roast, and she finds it weird that there are these pink areas randomly spread inside the roast I cut out a pink spot and tested it. It tastes like the white parts, and its the same consistency/chew. Its just fine? But why does it look like that?
