Beast of Reincarnation is a 'one-person, one-dog' RPG launching in 2026

Game Freak's upcoming action-adventure game, Beast of Reincarnation, was formally announced at the Xbox Games Showcase. The game was originally known as "Project Bloom" and is described as a "one-person, one-dog" RPG. It is set to be released in 2026 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, and will also be available through Xbox Game Pass at launch. The game takes place in a post-apocalyptic Japan that has returned to nature due to a beast-born blight. The main character, Emma the Sealer, travels through the wilderness with her dog Koo, engaging in demanding combat to save humanity from the sickness plaguing the land. Game Freak is best known for developing the Pokémon games, but has also worked on other projects such as Pocket Card Jockey and Pandoland. The game's original publisher, Private Division, was sold in 2024, and the game is now being published by Fictions. The trailer for Beast of Reincarnation showcases the game's technical combat and beautiful, natural environments. The game's story and gameplay mechanics are centered around the relationship between Emma and her dog Koo as they navigate the post-apocalyptic world. Beast of Reincarnation is a highly anticipated game that promises to deliver a unique and exciting gaming experience when it is released in 2026.
