Sen. Tuberville Blasts Zelensky For Seeking To 'Lure NATO' Into A War Ukraine Is 'Losing'

Senator Tommy Tuberville accused Ukrainian President Zelensky of attempting to draw NATO into the Russia-Ukraine war. Tuberville believes Zelensky knows Ukraine is losing the conflict and cannot win independently. He cited Ukraine's successful drone attacks inside Russia as a limited victory amidst a larger struggle. He stated that both sides share blame for the ongoing conflict, suggesting President Trump could facilitate its resolution. Tuberville echoed Trump's criticism, calling Zelensky a dictator and alleging financial mismanagement of aid. He estimated substantial casualties on both sides of the conflict, describing it as devastating. While Trump considers negotiations, there's no indication of halting arms supplies to Ukraine. These arms transfers are deemed "defensive," but Ukraine heavily relies on them for attacks inside Russia. Without this Western support, Ukraine's front lines could collapse, forcing territorial concessions. Zelensky has so far refused to concede any territory, including Crimea.
