Salesforce is using AI for up to 50% of its workload, and its AI product is 93% accurate, says CEO Marc Benioff

Salesforce CEO and founder Marc Benioff stated that the company now relies on artificial intelligence for 30% to 50% of its entire workload, with the goal of increasing productivity and reducing costs. The company is going all in on the AI boom, similar to other tech companies in Silicon Valley, including Microsoft and Google. Benioff believes that AI can do things that were previously done by humans, allowing them to move on to higher-value work such as software engineering and customer service. He even uses an AI partner to help write his yearly business plan, along with a human Salesforce executive. The company is on track to have one billion AI agents by the end of the year, with 65% of companies already experimenting with AI agents. Salesforce has reached 93% accuracy with its AI product, which is used by customers such as Walt Disney Co. to carry out tasks such as customer service without human supervision. The company has been ranked the No. 1 customer relationship management software provider for the 12th consecutive year by the global market intelligence firm IDC. The AI boom is ushering in a new era of "the tiny team," where tech companies are competing to see who can manage the lowest head count in an effort to cut costs and increase efficiencies. Salesforce reported revenue of $9.8 billion in its latest earnings report, up nearly 8% year over year, and raised its guidance to $41.3 billion. The company has built a deeply unified enterprise AI platform, allowing companies of every size to build a digital labor force and boost productivity, reducing costs, and accelerating growth.
