Google Workspace Updates Weekly Recap - June 27, 2025

Google has announced several updates for its Workspace customers, including support for Microsoft Office embedded files in Google Drive, allowing users to open Microsoft Office files that contain embedded PDFs. The company is also introducing Imagen 4, a high-quality image generation model, which will be available to Google Workspace Business and Enterprise users. Google has also introduced Google AI Ultra for Business, a new Workspace add-on that provides access to advanced AI features and next-generation AI tools. Several features have completed their rollouts to Rapid Release domains, Scheduled Release domains, or both, including customizable caption styling in Google Meet and a new video player experience in Google Drive on Android devices. Overall, these updates aim to improve the user experience and provide more features and functionality to Google Workspace customers.
