Amazon OpenSearch Serverless now available in Asia Pacific (Seoul) and Europe (Zurich) regions

Amazon OpenSearch Serverless is expanding its availability to the Asia Pacific (Seoul) and Europe (Zurich) regions. This expansion brings the total number of supported regions to 16 globally. OpenSearch Serverless is a serverless deployment option for Amazon OpenSearch Service that simplifies running search and analytics workloads. It eliminates the need for infrastructure management, allowing users to focus on their workloads. The compute capacity used for data ingestion, search, and query is measured in OpenSearch Compute Units (OCUs). Users can configure the maximum number of OCUs per account to control costs. The supported regions now include US East, US West, Asia Pacific, Europe, South America, Canada, and AWS GovCloud. For more information about Amazon OpenSearch Service availability, users can refer to the AWS Regional Services List. The documentation provides more details about OpenSearch Serverless and its features. This expansion aims to make OpenSearch Serverless more accessible to users worldwide.
