Four former staffers of President Biden have agreed to testify to the House Oversight Committee investigates the president's mental acuity. The aides will be questioned about alleged efforts to conceal the state of Biden's health in closed-door interviews under oath. Neera Tanden, former director of the Domestic Policy Council, will be the first to testify on June 24. Anthony Bernal, a former senior adviser to Jill Biden, will testify on June 26, and Ashley Williams, a former special assistant to the president, will testify on July 11. Annie Tomasini, former White House deputy chief of staff, will testify on July 18. The panel has also subpoenaed Kevin O'Connor, Biden's personal physician, after he refused to comply with a voluntary interview request. The committee has also sought interviews with several other former aides, including Ron Klain, Anita Dunn, Mike Donilon, Bruce Reed, and Steve Ricchetti. These aides were mentioned in a new book, "Original Sin," which details the efforts of Biden's inner circle to conceal his condition. The investigation is being led by Republicans who are trying to pin down the aides with questions about Biden's health.
