Asobo Studio has announced a new entry in the Plague Tale series, titled Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy, which is a prequel set 15 years before the last game. The game focuses on Sophia, a smuggler from A Plague Tale: Requiem, and is scheduled to be released in 2026. The game follows a young Sophia as she seeks independence as a fierce plunderer in the 14th century. The trailer shows Sophia on the run, escaping conflict, exploring mysterious ruins, and being pursued by danger. The game's visuals are typically lush and ominous.
