Use Gemini in Google Docs on Android devices in 20+ languages

Gemini is now available on Android devices, allowing users to understand, summarize, and ask questions about documents on the go. This feature is included in Google Workspace business plans, making it easy to work on the go without switching apps. With Gemini, users can get a summary of a long research report, ask questions about a specific detail in a document, and quickly create a draft with a simple prompt. Certain features, such as Help me write and image generation, are not available on mobile at this time. To access Gemini, users can tap on the spark icon on the top app bar and navigate through different actions. This feature is only available on Android tablets and phones running Android 8+. Admins do not have control over this feature. The rollout pace for this feature is extended for Rapid Release domains and full for Scheduled Release domains. The feature is available to Google Workspace Business Standard and Plus, Enterprise Standard and Plus, and customers with the Gemini Education or Gemini Education Premium add-on.
