Reddit's rule check feature will help users avoid breaking subreddit rules

Reddit has introduced new tools to encourage users to participate in discussions on the platform. One of the tools, called Rules Check, allows users to check if their post complies with a subreddit's rules before submitting it. The feature will be tested on iOS and Android before being released more widely. Rules Check can be accessed by clicking the wand icon in the post composer, which highlights potential rule-breaking content. Another tool, Post Recovery, notifies users if their post has been removed due to community rules and provides a link to share the post in a more appropriate subreddit. Reddit will also suggest relevant communities based on the content of the post, ensuring users post in the right place. Additionally, the platform will display community requirements, such as account age or minimum karma points, before allowing users to post. Post Insights, a tool for users who promote products and services, provides metrics on post engagement, including views, upvotes, shares, and crossposts. All the new tools, except Rules Check, are now available on Reddit's website and mobile app. These features aim to make it easier for users to participate in discussions and ensure they are posting in the right communities.
