Metal bar in Omaha steak?

Hi, complete amateurs here. Figuring out grilling as we go. We got these Omaha steaks as a gift. We got two filets wrapped in bacon. They have a metal bar in them, I’m presuming to hold the bacon on? Is this normal? Do we remove it before cooking or can it stay in until it’s cooked? submitted by /u/SuperbSalamander5175
