The Google Meet Add-ons SDK is now generally available, allowing developers to integrate their apps into Meet and enable users to interact with them within the meeting canvas. These apps can be found and installed from the Google Workspace Marketplace. Add-ons can be displayed as the main meeting focus or in a side panel for additional actions. The Workspace Marketplace respects admin controls for app downloads and installations, and all apps have been reviewed and approved by Google. Admins can control add-on availability through Google Meet Admin Controls. Developers can find more information in the Meet Add-ons SDK documentation. End users can learn about using add-ons in the Google Help Center. Meeting hosts can control add-on availability during meetings through Host Controls. The feature is available now for Rapid Release and Scheduled Release domains and all Google Workspace customers, Workspace Individual Subscribers, and users with personal Google accounts.
