No changes are anticipated for the cameras, USB-C port, or accessory compatibility like the Apple Pencil.The 12th-generation iPad is rumored to feature Apple's A18 or A19 chip, providing significant speed and efficiency improvements. These new chips will enable support for Apple Intelligence features, unlike the current A16 chip. Improved hardware-accelerated ray tracing will also enhance gameplay. To support Apple Intelligence, the RAM is expected to increase from 6GB to 8GB.There's a possibility the iPad will integrate Apple's N1 Wi-Fi and Bluetooth chip, supporting Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6, and Thread networking. This would offer faster 6GHz network connectivity and improved Bluetooth performance. However, Apple might reserve the N1 chip for premium devices.
