A look into the Kubernetes Book Club

Follow
Carlos Santana created the Kubernetes Book Club to foster a learning community and support system. Members collectively select books on Kubernetes-related topics, with the goal of making complex concepts accessible, especially for beginners. The club operates with regular meetups, interactive discussions, and pop quizzes to maintain engagement. It has covered various themes, including Kubernetes, security, and observability, reflecting the evolving cloud native landscape. Recently, the club joined the CNCF as a Cloud Native Community Group, enhancing its operations and reach. Since this affiliation, the club has experienced significant growth in membership and engagement, with over 40 events organized in the past six months. To join the club, individuals can join the Kubernetes Book Club Community, RSVP to events on the community page, and join the CNCF Slack channel #kubernetes-book-club. The club values the contributions of its volunteers and encourages attendees to visit their booth at KubeCon to connect with them.
