A New Home for Spring Cloud Contract: Transitioning to Stubborn.sh

Spring Cloud Contract, a vital tool for microservices communication, is undergoing a significant transition. Maintenance, support, and ownership are now officially transferred to its creator, Marcin Grzejszczak, under the new project Stubborn.sh. Consequently, Spring Cloud Contract will be removed from all future Spring Cloud release trains. No further updates or maintenance will be provided for the project within existing active release trains. Developers currently using Spring Cloud Contract are strongly advised to plan their migration to Stubborn.sh. This ensures they can continue to receive essential updates, bug fixes, and ongoing support. Marcin Grzejszczak, a former Spring team member and the original project lead, is well-positioned to steer the project forward. The Spring team expresses deep gratitude for his contributions and believes this return to its roots is the optimal path. They are enthusiastic about the project's continued development under his leadership. The Stubborn.sh team has published an official announcement for further details.
