Aardman’s Pokémon show is a delightful-looking romp that follows Sirfetch'd and Pichu

Aardman, known for Wallace & Gromit, is creating a Pokémon show titled "Pokémon Tales: The Misadventures of Sirfetch’d and Pichu." The show will feature Sirfetch'd and Pichu in charming adventures within the Galar region, inspired by the UK. The trailer showcases the duo's antics, including interactions with a Wooloo, fitting with Aardman's Shaun the Sheep connection. Unlike Pokémon Concierge, this show focuses solely on Pokémon characters without human protagonists. The series is set to release in 2027, with no confirmed streaming platform yet. The trailer was revealed during a Pokémon Presents livestream event. The event also included footage from new Pokémon Concierge episodes. A full hour of Pikachu DJing was showcased during the presentation. The announcement has generated excitement among Pokémon and Aardman fans.
