Adobe's Firefly Video Model is now in public beta, allowing users to access the generative AI video model without restrictions. The model is claimed to be the first commercially safe generative AI video model in the market. It was previously only available in Adobe Premiere Pro with Generative Extend, but can now be accessed through a standalone Firefly web app. The Firefly Video Model powers the Generate Video feature, which can create video clips from text prompts or images, edit images, and more. The generated content is considered "safe" for commercial use because it includes watermarks and embedded data that can be checked with Adobe's Content Authenticity web app. The Firefly web app integrates with Adobe Creative Cloud apps like Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and Express. The app has introduced three new features, including video generation, scene-to-image generation, and audio and video translation into supported languages. There are two pricing plans available: Firefly Standard and Firefly Pro, with the latter offering more video and audio credits. A Firefly Premium plan for professionals is coming soon. The Firefly Standard subscription costs $10 a month, while the Firefly Pro subscription costs $30 a month.
