Amandaland series two review – file this mesmerising comedy icon next to Alan Partridge and David Brent

This comedy series revolves around Amanda Hughes, played brilliantly by Lucy Punch, a delusional and narcissistic single mother. Amanda, formerly a boutique owner, now works in sales but dreams of becoming a successful lifestyle influencer. Her laziness and negligence are evident in her job, yet she diligently pursues her influencer aspirations for her brand, Senuous. Initially introduced as an antagonist in Motherland, Amanda has gained greater likability in her spin-off.
