AgentCore provides features for faster agent building, facilitating tool interaction, and ensuring secure, low-latency runtime environments. It eliminates the need for infrastructure management, simplifying operational tasks. The general availability introduces VPC, AWS PrivateLink, CloudFormation, and tagging for enhanced security and automation. AgentCore Runtime now includes support for the Agent-to-Agent protocol and eight-hour execution windows. AgentCore Memory enhances control through self-managed memory pipelines. AgentCore Gateway improves tool connectivity and IAM authorization, providing a secure endpoint for agent-tool interactions. AgentCore Identity advances authorization and secure storage with increased integration with OAuth protocols. AgentCore Observability offers comprehensive monitoring via CloudWatch dashboards and external provider integration. AgentCore supports various frameworks, independent of models, and is available in nine AWS Regions.
