Amazon EC2 Im4gn instances are now available in the Asia Pacific (Mumbai) region. These instances leverage AWS Graviton2 processors and the AWS Nitro System. They offer up to 30TB of instance storage using 2nd Generation AWS Nitro SSDs. The SSDs are designed for I/O-intensive workloads like databases and search engines. Im4gn instances are suitable for databases such as MySQL, MariaDB, and NoSQL options like KeyDB and Cassandra. These instances benefit workloads needing high compute performance and network throughput. They are also a good choice for search engines and data analytics requiring rapid data access on local storage. Im4gn instances provide up to 100 Gbps networking. Elastic Fabric Adapter (EFA) support is included for applications requiring high inter-node communication. Access Im4gn instances through the AWS Management Console, CLI, or SDKs.
