Amazon SageMaker Studio now welcomes new users with a streamlined sign-up process. Customers can now use their Google, GitHub, or Apple accounts to access a fully configured Studio environment. This eliminates the need for traditional AWS account creation, credit card information, and complex console navigation. Previously, new users faced a lengthy setup involving account creation, credit card provision, and manual configuration within the AWS Console. Recent enhancements already reduced environment setup time and added deep links for direct access. The new social sign-in option simplifies the process further, offering free credits through the AWS Free Tier without a credit card. Users land in a ready-to-use environment for immediate model fine-tuning, evaluation, and deployment. Collaboration is facilitated by inviting team members via email, allowing them to sign in with their social credentials. Projects can scale beyond free credits by upgrading to paid plans with spend limits. Verified customers benefit from default GPU instance access without needing to request quota increases. This feature is available in all supported AWS Commercial Regions and can be accessed via Hugging Face or the SageMaker Studio page.
