Amazon SES now supports open and click tracking override parameters
Amazon SES now allows senders to override open and click tracking settings directly within API calls. Previously, managing tracking preferences required separate configuration sets for each desired combination. This new feature enables individual enabling or disabling of open and click tracking on a per-API call basis. Senders can now specify tracking preferences directly in the send request. This reduces configuration overhead and simplifies adherence to recipient-level tracking consent. The capability is particularly beneficial for meeting data protection regulations like GDPR and CNIL. Tracking overrides applied per request take precedence over existing configuration set settings. This offers fine-grained control without altering existing configuration structures. There are no additional costs associated with using this new feature. This functionality is accessible across all AWS Regions where Amazon SES operates.
