Announcing general availability of managed integrations for AWS IoT Device Management

AWS has announced the general availability of managed integrations, a feature of AWS IoT Device Management that simplifies the control and management of IoT devices from multiple manufacturers and connectivity protocols. This feature allows developers to onboard and manage diverse IoT devices through a single unified interface, regardless of connection type. Managed integrations utilize Cloud-to-Cloud connectors and device data model templates, which can be customized to create new data models. Developers can create and list their own connectors and customize templates to accelerate IoT solution development. The unified interface, combined with device and hub SDKs, streamlines device management and onboarding across multiple devices, vendors, and connectivity standards. A catalog of pre-built C2C connectors and custom connector building capabilities enable integration with various third-party cloud-based devices. A comprehensive library of over 80 device data model templates, based on the Matter data model standard, provides a flexible and scalable approach to define device capabilities. Managed integrations empower developers to integrate devices into applications that provide a seamless experience for end users and enable the creation of value-added services. The feature is available in Canada (Central) and Europe (Ireland) and can be accessed through the AWS IoT console. To learn more, developers can refer to the developer guide and get started on the AWS IoT console.
