Announcing Pwn2Own Berlin and Introducing an AI Category

The Pwn2Own competition is moving to Berlin, Germany, and will take place on May 15-17, 2025, at the OffensiveCon conference. The event will feature a new category focused on Artificial Intelligence, with six targets in different frameworks. The AI category will require contestants to execute arbitrary code to win. The Cloud-Native/Container category will also return, along with the Tesla category, which has been a part of the competition since 2019. The classic categories, including web browsers, OSes, and Enterprise Servers, will also be featured. The competition will offer over $1,000,000 in cash and prizes, and the Master of Pwn will be awarded to the contestant with the most points at the end of the contest. The rules for the competition have been posted, and registration is required to participate. The event is currently sold out, but tickets may become available for the public. The conference has already sold out its first run of tickets in under six hours, and is expected to be a fantastic event with some of the best vulnerability researchers in the world.
