Announcing the Microsoft AI Power Days Agent-a-thon winners

The Microsoft AI Power Days Agent-a-thon in February 2026 encouraged builders globally to create AI agents solving real problems. Participants explored agentic AI capabilities using Microsoft's tools, demonstrating innovation, usability, and impact. Twelve grand prize winners were selected for their novel applications and user-centric designs. These agents offered measurable value, saving time, improving efficiency, or enhancing customer satisfaction. Each winner received a Microsoft Surface Pro to support their AI building endeavors. Winning agents were built using Microsoft Foundry, Microsoft Copilot Studio, or Agent Builder in Microsoft 365 Copilot. One winner, David Díaz Merino, created LicitaAI to streamline proposal generation by mapping agents to business development roles. The event aimed to lower barriers to AI creation, empowering individuals regardless of their skill level. A follow-up Agent-a-thon is scheduled for May 6, 2026, with training available on AI Skills Navigator. This initiative fosters learning, experimentation, and the creation of practical AI agents.
