Apple Confirms Vision Pro is Not Eligible for Trade-In

Apple has confirmed that the original Vision Pro is not eligible for trade-in. This means customers cannot receive credit towards the purchase of the updated model or any other Apple device. Those who invested in the original model for at least $3,499 will not have a trade-in option. The new Vision Pro features an M5 chip, 120Hz support, and a more comfortable Dual Knit Band. However, the Dual Knit Band is also compatible with the original Vision Pro and can be purchased separately. Existing Vision Pro owners seeking to upgrade will need to spend another $3,499, making some hesitant. Customers can explore selling their original Vision Pro device privately if they want to get some money back. The updated Vision Pro launched today, becoming available in Apple Stores. Customers can now demo the new model with the M5 chip and try the Dual Knit Band at Apple stores.
