Apple Creator Studio and Final Cut Camera Get New Features
Apple has released significant updates for its creative applications across iOS, Mac, and visionOS. Final Cut Camera for iOS now offers advanced controls for the iPhone 15 Pro, including variable aperture, aperture and shutter priority modes, and Cinematic mode effects. The app features a redesigned interface for easy access to professional settings like ISO and white balance, along with customizable exposure indicators and improved focus peaking. New features like tally lights and professional video scopes enhance the filming experience. The iWork suite, including Pages, Numbers, and Keynote, has received new templates, themes, and enhanced collaboration tools. Keynote introduces intelligent slide generation, while Numbers gains advanced mathematical functions. Pages for Mac now includes a Screen View for optimized reading and writing. Pixelmator Pro for iPad has incorporated new template collections and the precise Select and Mask tool from its Mac counterpart. On Mac, Final Cut Pro and Motion can now apply Cinematic mode effects to iPhone footage, allowing post-production adjustments to focus and depth. Compressor offers new export presets and support for converting Cinematic mode effects. Freeform on all platforms gains Dark Mode, folder organization, and Apple Intelligence-powered Writing Tools for handwritten note manipulation. The Vision Pro version of Freeform enables users to bring board items into their space and collaborate on 3D models.
