Apple Hits $4 Trillion Market Value, Joining Nvidia and Microsoft

Apple has momentarily surpassed $4 trillion in market capitalization, becoming the third company to achieve this milestone. Nvidia, already over $4 trillion, is approaching $5 trillion. Microsoft also briefly crossed $4 trillion in valuation this morning, having done so previously in July. Market capitalization represents the total value of a company's outstanding shares. An exact current figure for Apple is unavailable as an updated share count will be provided with their fourth fiscal quarter 2025 earnings. Apple's next earnings report is scheduled for Thursday, October 30. In January 2022, Apple was the first company to reach $3 trillion. However, its growth has lagged behind Nvidia due to high demand for Nvidia's chips. Aside from these three tech giants, no other companies are near the $4 trillion valuation. Alphabet, Amazon, and Meta have significantly lower market caps. Apple's stock has risen following the September release of the iPhone 17, driven by strong consumer demand for the new models.
